Tawana, for some unexplainable reason, you're my fave housemate right now!!!

Listening to: Tchi-Cum-Bah by Superbus
Watching: BBA 3
Finding the energy to: Learn Chemistry. Mid-term test coming soon...
Thinking about: The French essay I haven't finished which is due first thing Monday morning...

Busy week the past one's been. I can't remember what I did last Saturday but the day was quite dead. Or Sunday. I know I went to church...

But I remember what happened during the week. I had lunch with Ewuradjoa, my friend from middle school. She's done with high school and is working on her college applications and SAT. She wants to go to Yale I think. She also told me that most of of our friends are all leaving the country for university. Mostly to the US, a few to Canada. Really makes me feel small. I have another 2 years...

Jeani and her sis Steffi came over on Tuesday. I got them hooked on Guitar Hero (after I intmidated them with my awesome skills on Closer-Medium). Yasmin came over on Wednesday. We just hung out watching BBA and a Rowan Atkinson video she had. I spent most of Thursday sleeping cause I stayed up to watch the presidential debate (JOE THE PLUMBER!!!) but I went over to Katakyie's house when he was done with school. He's writing PSAT today. He's getting me started on Avatar. H e gave me the first 6 episodes of Book 1 and I'm gonna get rest today. I watch part of episode 1 yesterday. It's quite good. Oh, yesterday...

Erika came over impromptu. We talked for like the longest time imaginable about the people in school. Then we went to the mall cause Eli and I had school shopping to do and we picked Yasmin up cause her house is close and it was a hot day. She didn't want to walk. When we were done, Eli went for her confirmation class (She and our cousin Jimand are getting confirmed tomorrow) and I got ready for the Korean dance. Not like a dance party. The Korean Embassy organized a performance on Korean culture. The Korean in our school put posters up to advertise. Jeani said she wanted to go cause since the Olympics she's really fascinated with the Asian culture. She even asked me to give her my J-pop songs. Her iPod is now infected with Ayumi Hamasaki...

Jeani came to pick me up when she was done with MUN at school (Her commitee's boring but I love the stuff she's written so far. She's a press member and is writing her stuff Gossip Girl style!) Yea-young was soo excited to see us!! I think her fear was that no one from school would show up. We got there really early so we spent like 30 or so minutes trying to find good seats. Erika and her bro Ellis came too and we ended up sitting upstairs. It was a good show. I loved the fan dance. It was really prettyful!!! lol. And I almost ran into my old art teacher las night. Good thing I didn't...

Today's another dead Saturday. I'm home alone right now. Eli's gone to get a fake doctor's note, my dad's playing squash and my mum's doing her usual Saturday morning errands. And I have no idea what I'm doing for the rest of the day.

SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!

...which reminds me, I gotta work on my Halloween costume...

Emotionally scarred last Saturday...*Cue suspense music*

Listening to: Do It by Nelly Furtado
Watching: BBA 3 (Tawana looks like a crayon!!!)
Indecision: What am I doing today???

I found my extremely old iPod. The mini. It's bulky and looks older than 4 years but I'm having a blast listening to all my old songs!!

The Founder's day week ended on a good note. We all had to were our school polos on Friday (ew!!) but it was an interesting day. We had this big assembly thing with a play and awards and junk. Then we spent the rest of the day getting ready for the funfair...

...which, by my standards, was a success. We weren't fully ready by 10 especially since most of the 12 graders went to write SAT's but we bounced back quite quick. I helped with the haunted house the day before (which was an uber success!!! The most successful thing at the funfair after Jamz...) and spent the whole day walking all over the place even though I worked in both the casino and games room. (I played Mario Kart Wii too!! It was quite fun) At about 2:30 I went to the Jamz room but it wasn't really active cause it just started. I left at 3, found Jeani who had spent the day with her parents and we went back at 3:30 and the place was damn hot!! I saw smoke coming out of the room and was like 'Who's smoking up there?' (It was on the 3rd floor of the Resource Center) Entered the room and immediatly got hit by a blast of hot hair. I stayed in until 5, dancing my little heart out. We managed to get the best DJ in Ghana- DJ Black!! My hair was uber wet with sweat but I think it was worth it!! (But there are some memories I want to throw away to the deepest darkest corners of the earth. *shudders*)

We watched a few performances for an hour then the Jamz continued until 8. At this point in time it became a free-for-all (at first it was 16 and over) I went back in at 7 cause I was hanging with Jeani. She said she couldn't go back in there so she went back to the room and watched Stardust. I went back in and the nightmare started all over again (Why???) The fun part was over... When the lights came back on, the walls were discolored cause people had grinded seriously on the walls... Most of the teachers were mad!!

So basically that was the funfair (The Premiere...Fly @ 5). I spent the past week looking back at everything that's happened to me during the past mid-semester... And the analysis? I gotta work harder academically, I gotta clear my head of what doesn't deserve to be there (It's gonna be soo hard!!), and I gotta go crazy for CAS!!!! My mid-semester report was good though. I got about 36 points so hopefully I'm on the merit list (more good things for my college applications!!)

Now I have to plan my mid-term... driving...lunch with friends...mall crawling...Guitar Hero... hmm...needs more activities... Mother is screaming something about grandmothers... gosh!!

Happy (late!) birthday Jeani!!

Hey JT!!

Yeah I know, your birthday was yesterday... But we had fun, no? The 10 million videos we took... lol. Too bad we couldn't have our kaba photo shoot v.v

OK, anywhoo, I can't believe your finally 17!! OMG you are such a baby! Don't worry, I'll pick you up one of these days... when I get my license!! (Next year when I hit 18!!)

I miss our Mission Impossibles from last semester!!

I just wanted to say that you've been an uber awesome friend. You've always been there for me and tolerated me on my worst days. I honestly can't imagine life without you... *doesn't think about*

You really laughed at me the time when I called you about the security guard...

But no worries, JT cause we'll be together for the rest of our natural existence, whether you like it our yes!

Our college road trip thing is still on. Vegas, here we come!!!

Just remember one important factor in life-  I will always be there for you. Though I may not  show it openly, I always will be, okey dokey smokey???

Remember last semester with the person in grade 10? You really helped me through that!!

LUV YA LOADZ!!! xxx

Noda noda noda!!!

But you're still a n00b!!

"The sea is wine red/ This is the death of beauty"

Listening to: Jeremy by Pearl Jam
Current academic pursuit:Finishing/doing English and Math homework
Hoping: The funfair goes off without a hitch.

Theophilus just gave Jeani and I nicknames: Timon and Pumbaa. I'm Timon and Jeani's Pumbaa. I asked him why he gave us the nicknames and he said it's because I'm small and Jeani's big. My logical reason is that Timon is the crazy ringleader and Pumbaa kinda goes along with the flow (ok so we don't really act like that but it's close!)

Right now, my school is celebrating it's 5th anniversary. The actual day is on Friday but there are activities planned for the whole week.

Monday- Symposium on international education. Yawn! At one point in time, Ama, Akosua and I were in the bathroom and played 2-4-6-1-1 and ampe!)

Tuesday- Debate. "Is Ghana ready for a female president?" Boys were for and girls against the motion. The girls won by a landslide!! It was hilarious!!

Wednesday- Career Day. Spent most of my time with the IT experts!!!

Thursday- Staff vs students football match. I always look forward to this every year!!

Friday (A-day)- NO SCHOOL!! Photo exhibition, enactment of school's dream, special assembly and some other stuff I can't remember...

Saturday- Funfair!!

Sunday- Special anniversary church service.

Next Friday- MID-TERM!!!!! lol!

Busy week huh? Well, I guess. And it doesn't help that I have tests coming up (Math on monday) and homework (English is 2 and a half pages? why????). IB's a crazy thing...

Oh yeah almost forgot to mention: Saturday's games were the most boring ever but it was the best for me! Weird huh? My cousin Gabriella came (shocker!) and Micheal too!! Yay!!! I missed him so much! And now everyone's looking forward to the funfair! The IT department actually unblocked Facebook so we could tell everyone about the funfair!! Can you imagine? Well, I'm abusing it. I haven't really said anything about it yet but I will, soon. I reminded Katakyie about it again. He's forever grounded!! I just hope his dad allows him to come. I mean I practically begged his dad to let him come. And Michael said he's sacrificing his exeat to come. Yay!! But don't worry guys (aka whoever reads this), I'll give you the full report next week!!

Ok now seriously, I have to do my work...
