"Once or Twice"- Jeani's random phrase of the day!

Listening to: Prelude 21/12 by AFI
Doing: Geography research on Thomas Malthus
Looking forward to: Exeat this Saturday!!!

Jeani, will you blog for me? I'm feeling lazy...

fine...

The school's internet has not been working properly for some time. At one point in time, I felt that the whole school was like the South Park episode were they wake up one morning and the internet's gone (and funnily enough, Dolly and I stayed up the night before it happened doing our MUN research)

Ah, MUN. There was an MUN conference at another school about 2 weeks ago and I was the delegate of Panama in the Security Council. Lemme just say that it was my first official MUN so I was a bit confused so I was quite quiet during the debates. But when we had the Generel Assembly, I was talking up a storm! Some terrorists had captured a fellow delegate and wanted the whole of Australia. If we didn't comply within 2 hours, the delegate would be killed and they had suicide bombers in all the major cities in the world. Unfortunately, when we can out with a resolution after the 2 hour deadline so the delegate was killed and 105 million people were killed in the suicide blasts. (remember, it's fake. It didn't really happen. But the delegate was really absent that day.)

And I'm proud to say that I'm failing 5 of my 6 classes!! Weird huh? The only subject I'm doing ok in is English and that's because we've hardly done any exercises. I had Math and Geography tests the Monday after the MUN conference. And because I had spent the whole weekend doing the Conference, I didn't get time to study so I failed and failed miserably!! But the only reason why I'm happy is cause it will give me the energy to learn for exams so I can have a really good report this Christmas (exams are in 20 days...)

Halloween this year was a bit dead. I went as Boxman from Smosh and I got 2nd place for bet costume. Daniela won- she was a snake lady. And it was so painful cause everyone kept on hitting me while I was in the box and I didn't take a lot of pictures that night...

Today, they FINALLY resolved the History and Geography problem. The History class has been spilt up to 2 sets. I'm in set 2 a.k.a non-Economics students. So now I have History when there's Economics. That means my beautiful timetable has been destroyed. I used to have a free period every single day but now I only have free periods on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (at least my 4 free periods on Fridays are still intact) And we just got a student teacher from Central Michigan University in our History class yesterday... v.v

Oh, I almost forgot! Today's election day and everyone in school's gone Obama crazy!!! It's so hilarious!! And Ghana's elections are in about a month...

And I would also like to mention that too many people are born on the 4th of November!! Happy birthday Lizzie, Rita, Nii and Somi!!

By the way, I'm officially math retarded!! I can solve really hard math questions but I can't solve really hard ones!! Example is the last question. It was a simple math question but I spent a good 15 minutes trying to solve it and I know I got it wrong. crazy huh?

Don't ******* give me a guilt trip!!

Listening to: Kiss and Control by AFI
Current academic pursuit: learning Chemistry and Geography (or trying to...)
Wishing: I had the power to kill...

Urgh! School's in super full swing and i just realized that I don't want to do History AT ALL!!! You know who I blame? The IB coordinator of my school. Last year he told me and Jeani that he would bring Information Technology in a Global Society so we were like ok! We come back to school and he changes his mind (can I kill him? PLEEAASSEEE???) So now I'm stuck doing History which I'm not enjoying too much. I just can't believe that I'm gonna do History for the next 2 years (oops sorry, 18 months!) when I'm not even gonna DO History in university (I plan on doing Mathematics and Computer Science... at my first choice Carnegie Mellon!!)...See my predicament!!

Anywhoo, The guilt trip comes from my History and Geography teachers. Because their subjects clash, I have to alternate classes. So when I go for Geography, I get the guilt trip from my History teacher and vice versa (that whole "you didn't come for class" thing) It's frigging ANNOYING!!!!! *sigh*

I can't wait for September to end! The singing competition is this Saturday and I can't wait for it to be over. And after that, there's the Sports competition between my school and like 5 or 6 other international schools in Ghana. See why I can't wait for September to end?

"IB is a rigorous course for highly motivated students" lulz... (Happy birthday Dolly!!!)

Listening to: Mirrorcle World by Ayumi Hamasaki
Hiding in: the Library (no ones after me though!)
Current academic pursuit: Filling out my CAS form

Hey all. I know it's been a while since my last update. School started and everything's just gone crazy!!
When I came back to school last Saturday, everyone was uber happy to see me. I was practically floating on cloud 11 (shows you how happy I was!)
Sunday, we got our new uniforms... X_X. I hate them. My dad loves them...
(full body shoot coming soon)

Now IB is in full swing for my grades. We have quite a few new people and there's already a lot of drama (and it's only been about a week!!!) So now here's my official list of subjects:

Mathematics Higher Level
Geography Higher Level
French Higher Level

English Standard Level
Chemistry Standard Level
History Standard Level

History and Geography clash on the timetable so until a change is made, I have to alternate. I go for History on Mondays and Geography Tuesdays to Thursday. So far my fave subject is Math (what a geek... but by next week, I'll be wishing I never choose the damn subject...)

Oh gosh I thought was gonna talk about soo much..Ok I have a bit of time...(I have another free period and another...CAS can wait a bit)

So Fang spent her summer in China but she was in Shanghai. She got me some cute hair stuff and one of those toys you get from McDonalds. It was the red Olympics mascot, Huanhuan or whatever its called. She told me their names strung together translated to "Beijing welcomes you!" You gotta love the Chinese...

Snack time!!! Not like I'm going...
